Fully mobile responsive design and development for this specialist tour operator.

Artisan Travel have been providing tours for over 15 years. They have three sister companies; Activities Abroad, The Aurora Zone and Artisan Travel. Each company is unique and has its own clear selling points; from offering holidays for families, specialist Northern Lights tours to ‘bucket-list’ experiences.

The requirement for this project was to develop a main template with the ability to split into three separate websites as colours, imagery and branding would have to be tweaked. The deadlines for the project were extremely tight to get the site ready for the selling season but we were able to launch a site for them in record time.

What we did.

Website Template

We employed modern, responsive elements using some of the latest JavaScript libraries to really make the sites stand out. Although the sites had to be different to make them look distinctive and fitting to the products they’re selling, the design was done in a way which ensured there was consistency.

Further Enhancements

Over the years we have had many further projects for Artisan, including an ongoing integration with the Darwin reservations system, plus various ‘Inspiration’ pages and custom built enquiry forms.
